Madelainartz is an art gallery which has successfully grown from an empty unit provided free to a local artist who supports and raises funds for Fibromyalgia research. Madelainartz was founded in 2009 by Madelaina Murthwaite: The artist and director of The Gallery Liverpools Best Kept Secret, Clayton Square Shopping Centre. She prides herself on exhibiting her own celebrity portraits and supporting local artists. The Gallery has an informal feel to it and therefore makes local art accessible to the whole community. With an L1 postcode it is a hotspot for all visitors to the city! The gallery hosts an Art & Craft fair every month on the second or third Saturday. Madelainartz launches a new exhibition on 13th January 2011 called "Mad About Liverpool".
