Discounted parking for theatre-goers

St Johns Car Park offers discounted parking of £2 for patrons visiting local theatres after 5.00 pm and leaving before midnight. The theatres include The Liverpool Empire, Liverpool Playhouse, Liverpool Everyman, The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic at St George's Hall and the Royal Court Theatre.

How to qualify for the discounted rate:

  • Use the main car park and take a ticket on entry. Do not use the short stay pay and display area.
  • When leaving the car park after the performance, you must hand your car parking ticket and your theatre ticket stub, dated for that evenings performance, to the cashier at the car park exit.
  • You will then be charged the applicable discounted tariff.

St Johns Car Park Wins Award

St Johns Car Park has won the coveted Park Mark Safer Parking Award for the eighth consecutive year.

The award is given following a risk assessment by The Association of Chief Police Officers. Constable Paul Martin of Merseyside Police commented, ‘This car park is secure, clean and well maintained. Camera coverage throughout the facility is above average as is the quality and effectiveness of lighting. The car park gives the feeling of being a safe and non-threatening environment’.

St Johns Car Park joins the AA

The car park has also taken membership of the AA and is the first car park in Merseyside to do so. Should any customer using the car park encounter a breakdown the AA will try and fix their vehicle on site, or if they are unable to do so, take them and their to the nearest garage or to their home if they live within a ten mile radius. This is a free of charge service to our customers who will only be asked to pay for parts.
